Bombono DVD has strong requirements for video files now:
 * must be MPEG2
 * must have DVD resolutions (720x576 for PAL, 720x480 for NTSC and a few other)
 * must have NAV-packets.

If your video does not conform then you need to ''reencode'' (if not MPEG2) or to ''remux'' it (if w/o NAV-packets). You can do it with
'''ffmpeg''', '''mencoder'''  or '''mjpegtools''', for example. If you need GUI then see [[Preparing_sources_for_DVD|video conversion software]].

##__Remark__: there are plans to add reencode functionality to the program, but it's not easy.
